F4G - Fit 4 Golf

F4G sessions will be based on 8 week blocks with 4 units aimed specifically at increasing functional ability and injury prevention. leading to better athletic abil-ity. Each unit will include mobility and flexibility work as a standard.

Unit 1 - Core Dynamic
  • Rotational mobility and core stability to assist the golf swing will be the focus of this unit, exercises such as swings, windmills, squat & press, lunge twists and Russian twists.
Unit 2 - Power
  • Speed and agility will be the focus here to increase power behind the golf swing. Exercises to incorporate power in-clude squats bench press and deadlifts along with plyom-etrics.
Unit 3 - Core Static
  • The focus of this unit will be to increase balance and posi-tional endurance. Exercises to assist would be BOSU and gym ball movements, balance boards, static squats, planks and singular leg exercises.
Unit 4 - Strength
  • This unit will tie all of the units together and build strength to increase muscular endurance, grip and co-ordination. Resistance machines, dumbbells and compound along with compound complex exercises will be utilised.
